Tech Pack & Fit
Define the job, garment type, fit, pocket layout, reinforcement points, branding and required performance specifications.
Crea Textile / Product Engineering
Workwear is engineered around durability, comfort, repeated washing and the demands of the job. Woven fabrics, construction details and functional finishes are selected according to the working environment.
From specification to shipment
A controlled production route designed around durability, movement, functional details, repeatability and final inspection.
Define the job, garment type, fit, pocket layout, reinforcement points, branding and required performance specifications.
Select woven construction, fibre blend, GSM, colour, finish and performance requirements; approve swatches and lab dips.
Develop the first garment, check mobility, pocket access, proportions, construction and finishing, then revise to approval.
Relax the woven fabric, prepare markers and cut panels with controlled grain direction, shrinkage allowance and efficient marker planning.
Assemble shoulders, neck rib, sleeves and body using the approved seam and stitch specifications.
Apply embroidery, print, transfer, woven labels, reflective tape and approved trims with controlled placement.
Apply approved finishing, press, thread trim, inspect appearance, fold, label and pack according to the distribution plan.
Check measurements, fabric GSM and shade, seam quality, reinforcement, branding, functionality and packing before shipment release.
Fabric engineering
Workwear GSM is selected by the job rather than by weight alone. For general woven uniforms, around 200–270 GSM is a practical range; 280–320 GSM suits heavier-duty garments, while lighter ripstop options can be used for warm and high-mobility work.
| Fabric / Construction | Typical GSM | Best Use |
|---|---|---|
| 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton Twill | 200–270 GSM | General industrial uniforms, work trousers, jackets and coveralls |
| 100% Cotton Drill / Twill | 240–310 GSM | Breathable, durable workwear and heavier-duty uniforms |
| Poly-Cotton Ripstop | 190–245 GSM | Lightweight tear resistance, cargo trousers and field workwear |
| Stretch Poly-Cotton Twill | 180–260 GSM | Mechanics, installation and jobs requiring greater mobility |
| Heavyweight Jersey | 220–300+ GSM | Premium oversized and streetwear |
| FR / Protective Woven | 280–360+ GSM | Welding, heat or specific protective programs — standard and certification defined per application |
Woven workwear constructions can be developed in poly-cotton twill, cotton drill, CVC, ripstop, stretch twill, canvas and other technical woven options.
Pocket construction, bartacks, reinforced seams, reflective tape, DWR or other functional finishes, embroidery, printing, labels and packaging can be specified per product.
Have a reference garment or technical specification? We can recommend the right woven construction and GSM to balance durability, climate, mobility, industrial washing and target price.
Quality checkpoints
Consistency matters after the first shipment. Our checkpoints are structured to keep the approved product stable across production runs.
