Crea Textile / Product Engineering
Polo shirts combine structured collars, plackets and breathable knit constructions. Fabric choice drives drape, shape retention, comfort and perceived quality.
From specification to shipment
A controlled production route designed around fit, fabric performance, repeatability and final inspection.
Define fit, collar shape, placket width, buttons, sleeve cuff and branding details.
Choose piqué, jersey or structured knit according to breathability, drape, colorfastness and price.
Check collar roll, placket alignment, body balance and sleeve proportions.
Control relaxation, shade grouping, shrinkage and marker efficiency before bulk cutting.
Cut panels and assemble shoulder, collar, placket, cuff and side seams to approved specs.
Add labels, buttons, embroidery or print; verify placement and trim color.
Apply wash or softener finish, steam/press, thread trim, folding and size labeling.
Check measurements, collar symmetry, button spacing, shade and packing before shipment.
Fabric engineering
GSM ranges are practical starting points. Final selection depends on target market, season, hand-feel, construction, washing requirement and price point.
| Fabric / Construction | Typical GSM | Best Use |
|---|---|---|
| Cotton Piqué | 180–220 GSM | Classic breathable polo with structured surface |
| Combed Cotton Piqué | 190–230 GSM | Premium retail and corporate polos |
| CVC Piqué | 190–240 GSM | Durability and easy-care balance |
| Cotton / Polyester Piqué | 180–220 GSM | Corporate, hospitality and performance |
| Interlock / Structured Jersey | 180–240 GSM | Smoother, softer polo hand |
Collar shape, placket width, buttons and sleeve cuff can be developed around the approved fit and construction.
Labels, buttons, embroidery or print can be added with placement and trim colour checked against approval.
Wash or softener finish, pressing, thread trimming, folding and size labelling are controlled before packing.
